Students in Ms Hall's science class made simple carbon dioxide fire extinguishers. The chemical reaction between baking soda and white vinegar creates carbon dioxide gas and water. Students were able to "pour" the carbon dioxide to extinguish a small flame.

Reminder for all students and their families. The state has implemented a new cell phone policy and our District is in compliance. Stein High School requires all students who bring their cell phones to school to place them in lock boxes upon entering the classroom. Phones will be returned to the student at the end of the period.

Joe Poni is a Stein Alumni who comes back to Stein every year to talk with our students. He is both a motivational speaker and an expert entrepreneur and always has a wealth of wisdom and down to Earth advice to share with our Stein students.

Stein's Barbering Academy treated students to free Back To School haircuts on August 1.
This was a super successful event with 77 free haircuts! Students and their families were impressed with both our Barbering students and with Stein's new facility.

Tracy Unified’ s Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) will manage registration for all after-school programs, including Boys & Girls Clubs of Tracy.
Complete the ELOP registration through Attendly (see FAQs below) to be considered for participation in any after-school program offered at your child’s school.
Registration goes live on July 22nd at 8 AM PST.
